On a lazy fall night, Chris and I began to talk about our friend John. John is a talented vocalist, a budding music artist. His ability to churn out catchy melodies on the spot blows me away. It's clear when a talent is natural.
We thought about how we would mold John if (and when) we have our own record label. What sort of image would we craft for him? He deserves stardom on his passion and ability alone, but we know the world doesn't work like that. The people demand heroes, otherworldly beings with gifts.
Enter Jay Pacific.
Jay Pacific is a the Space Prince. Jay Pacific is the creator of Galactic R&B, the most powerful theme in all the universe. Jay Pacific is not from this Earth. Jay Pacific is here to save us with his sounds. Sounds like you have never heard before.
Jay Pacific's debut album is Hotel Verve.
It's an album in the sense that it is a collection of music files available for sale. But to be honest, we had to go through an extensive translation process to convert the data we received into the commercial masterpiece you will be listening to. You see, Jay Pacific was transmitting these "songs" as radio transmissions we picked up. Radio transmissions to who? We don't know. He'll never tell.
